Angie Roche
Before becoming an artist, Angie trained first in floristry, then later as a nursery nurse. She still works as a nanny in London, but lives in East Sussex with her partner Michael Bentley, who is also an artist. She loves the countryside of the South Downs, and loves to travel to other sources of inspiration wherever possible. She specialises in delicate watercolour landscapes and still lifes, and like Michael has a keen interest in landscape and flower photography.
Her other interests include travel, badminton, cooking, music, Angie says:
I became actively involved with peace work in 2003 along with my partner Michael, when the Iraq War began. We would attend Anti War demonstrations in central London and campaign for human rights.
Through helping to create EPL I would like to think we made the East Sussex people more aware of what is happening in the world around them and more importantly what can be done to increase this awareness.
I stand proud of my peace work achievements, especially when I see the positive results coming from our hard work.
